FOUR PAWS disaster relief operating
in Pakistan

A skilled group of vets and logistics experts of FOUR PAWS, together with the local group "Vets Care", which consist of volunteer vets under the special direction of Dr. Waseem Shaukat, is providing food, medical care and vaccinations for animals in Layyah, one of the regions most affected by the flood in Pakistan. The team has spent its first week in the area now, having arrived in Lahore on August 24, 2010. One of the worst environmental disasters in the history of the impoverished country, the flood so far has killed over 2000 people and over 200.000 animals.
